DR. JOHN HADJINICOLAOU
Dr. John Hadjinicolaou was born and raised in Thessaloniki , Greece , where he completed his primary and secondary education.
Subsequently he completed three degrees in the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki , Greece one in Byzantine Music ,one in Civil Engineering and one in Orthodox Theology.
He came in Canada in 1977 where he completed a Masters and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at McGill University.
Since 1983, he teaches as a professor at McGill University and from 1990 at Concordia University also. He also holds an MBA degree from McGill .
From 1998 until now he is the director of the Orthodox Theology programmes at the University of Sherbrooke at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
In 1983 he founded and has directed of the Montreal Centre for Greek studies and since 1987 is the president of the Orthodox publishing company Alexander Press.
From 1996 he has been an UN International expert and professor in environmental issues.
He is married to the psychiatrist Dr. Evangelia Amirali and they have four sons.
