The 2008 St. Herman Russian Orthodox Youth Conference will be hosted by St. Nicholas Cathedral in the city of Montreal with the blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, and His Grace Gabriel, bishop of Montreal and All Canada.
The Conference will be held at the beautiful Dorval Four Points Sheraton in Montreal. The cost will be $250.00 per person if registered before December 1st. A number of exciting lectures are planned, as well as discussion groups on timely subjects and social activities. Of course, there will be beautiful services for the feast of St. Herman of Alaska. |
The Conference will be for age groups 15 to young adult. Two groups, one high school students and one college students and older, will have some separate lecutures and discussion groups. The older group will have thier own hospitality room and social hours. The college students will be housed in a separate area of the hotel. |
